This spot for Pacific Resource Partnership is all about helping viewers visualize the opportunities created by revitalizing neighborhoods like Kaka'ko and creating “integrated communities” -- areas where residents can take advantage of more affordable housing options and the benefit of living within walking distance of jobs, shops, restaurants and other amenities and services in their neighborhoods. The growth and redevelopment of Kaka'ako means an economic boom that will create hundreds of construction jobs and generate billions of dollars for the economy.

The Pacific Resource Partnership (PRP) serves as the critical link between Hawaii's top contractors and the largest construction union in the state, the 6,700-member Hawaii Regional Council of Carpenters. As an advocate for unionized construction and an influential resource for management, PRP is able to bridge these traditional divides to successfully lead efforts that sustain the health of the building industry.
