Every five years Kansas City residents have to vote to renew the Earnings Tax.  Revenue from the Earnings Tax makes up 40% of the city’s general fund, and funds police, fire and ambulance services.  Every five years there is an effort from the right to put an end to the tax, and this year was no different.

Hamburger Gibson Creative was proud to be part of the team that helped pass the Earnings Tax in Kansas City.  Along with Dover Strategies Group and Mayor Sly James, we communicated with voters about the importance of this tax, and the Kansas City residents voted to renew the city's Earnings Tax with 77% of the vote.
